But that's hundreds of years after the constitution of the US was drafted, so it doesn't count. In fact, the Koran was written many years before that even, so I think it's time to use the wisdom that book has brought to the Middle East and use it to sort out this gun business. Or we could dust off the Magna Carta, which is almost as old, and in English of sorts. I am sure there is something in there we could use.
Or we could use common sense, which seems to have been replaced by wacky high-school in doctrine which is apparently pumped into kids brains and lasts well into adulthood. |
