I've only read about it in IRC. If there's no bug to be found open one with the [kde overlay] tag. _________________ backend.cpp:92:2: warning: #warning TODO - this error message is about as useful as a cooling unit in the arctic |

It seems the infamous panel bug was finally fixed in 4.9 RC1 _________________ backend.cpp:92:2: warning: #warning TODO - this error message is about as useful as a cooling unit in the arctic |

New panel bug! It's probably also multi-resolution setup related, since rc2 my center panel is about twice as big as necessary right after startup, on click or unlock it is fine again. _________________ backend.cpp:92:2: warning: #warning TODO - this error message is about as useful as a cooling unit in the arctic |

Is it possible to force Kate/KWrite to put in a specific highlight style for a specific non-default extension (let us say, I want every file make.* to be highlighted as Makefile).
I have added make.* in the MIME types, "file make.myfile" reports the correct MIME type, and even Kate reports that make.* is in makefile script type, but it does not highlight it as makefile. _________________ i7-720QM | nVidia GT 230M | 4 GB DDR3

I'm having another problem with KDE4 now. There is no KWin when I launch KDE.
I can see the error
| Code: | | kwin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libkdeinit4_kwin.so: undefined symbol: _ZN10KWorkSpace10trimMallocEv |
when I try to start it manually. Any ideas? _________________ i7-720QM | nVidia GT 230M | 4 GB DDR3
