|
|
I want to install wxGTK so I have both a debug version and a release version side-by-side on the same machine. How do I do that?
The output of "eselect" tells me that it should be possible:
Code: |
# eselect wxwidgets list
Available wxWidgets profiles:
[1] gtk2-unicode-debug-2.8 *
|
When I change the "debug" flag to "-debug" in my package.use and reinstall, then I get the release version but NO debug version.
I want them both - and select the release version as default (for normal use when installing regular software that depends on wxGTK).
So... eventually, I would like to install wxGTK-2.9 as well (both debug and release) although it is masked. Then eselect should list 4 different wxWidgets installations.
Thanks in advance |

Somebody must know: How can there be an eselect opportunity for wxGTK when I cannot install more than one version at a time?
There must be a way to do this. Please help! |
