Hi,
So, I am trying to migrate off of Chrome back to Opera, but there is one thing I can't set up for ages - WebM on youtube.
I installed Opera with gstreamer support, gst-plugins-good, gst-plugins-libav and gst-plugins-base . I also tried gst-plugins-ffmpeg, tried to browse other forums on advice hat I did wrong.
Still, I can not get it to play. Youtube says I have HTML5 support, but not WebM support, which I know Opera should support for years now.
Does anyone have any idea about What I am doing wrong?
Must the plugins be detected in Opera's plugin list (like flash)?
What am I missing?
I would be grateful for any help whatsoever.
Thanks!

That's strange. I just googled "youtube html5", logged into youtube, selected the "participate html5 test" and it just worked out of the box. No need to select anything in Opera. Flash is installed along, 32 and 64 bit versions. _________________ "Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous."
