As Hu suggests, shadow should install the groupadd binary... Try re-emerging shadow and check if /usr/sbin/groupadd exists.
If it does, maybe your PATH is screwy... |

Somehow, you uninstalled shadow. That is bad. As drwook said, you need to reinstall it. |

For me some shadow tools are gone because i had a harddisk defect. I changed it. But after that these tools were gone.
When i try to reinstall shadow it pulls more pakets than the one from the topic starter.
For polkit eg. it needs a tool from shadow: groupadd.
What can i do?
I would like to copy it from the stage archive. Or some build. ;p

my pc is amd64. so doesn't work. next one is
my netbook. it is x86. should work? |
