edit: oh wait it says he got squished in tiny print at the bottom... oh well... _________________ Now, with penguins, (cuddly such), "contented" means it has either just gotten laid, or it's stuffed on herring. Take it from me, I'm an expert on penguins, those are really the only two options.

The real question is who stood there and took a picture instead of pulling him up. _________________ Oldthinkers unbellyfeel INGSOC.

Well, I know what happens next. All press photographers will get sneered at, regardless of whether they have a soul or not. It's the same as when one man gets caught taking pictures of kids on the beach for a paedophile ring: it tars all happy snappers.
Oh well, the press likes it's freedom, and then tries it's hardest to piss off the legislators. It will get what it deserves. |

No, it was a photographer repeatedly firing off his camera's flash to try to signal the oncoming train. In the process he captured many photos. That's what he said in an interview, at least. I guess he could be lying. _________________ Your argument is invalid. |

Sounds like bullshit to me.
He probably got ten grand from the Post just for the frame we were looking at, a million from somebody else for the one where the guy's head and arm are flying and a gout of blood is jetting eight feet in the air from the gap alongside the train. _________________ Oldthinkers unbellyfeel INGSOC.

If he took the photo in the link, then definitely BS. If he were just trying to trigger the flash, it likely wouldn't have been framed as well.
That said, it is possible he didn't think he could get to the guy in time, and or was concerned the perp might push more people. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.
