Well, I know what happens next. All press photographers will get sneered at, regardless of whether they have a soul or not. It's the same as when one man gets caught taking pictures of kids on the beach for a paedophile ring: it tars all happy snappers.

Oh well, the press likes it's freedom, and then tries it's hardest to piss off the legislators. It will get what it deserves.

No, it was a photographer repeatedly firing off his camera's flash to try to signal the oncoming train. In the process he captured many photos. That's what he said in an interview, at least. I guess he could be lying.

If he took the photo in the link, then definitely BS. If he were just trying to trigger the flash, it likely wouldn't have been framed as well.

That said, it is possible he didn't think he could get to the guy in time, and or was concerned the perp might push more people.
