|
|
Hi,
This weekend I installed gamess. But it seems like it is not working due an error with the hostname:
Code: | /usr/bin/ddikick.x /usr/bin/gamess.00.x H20_3_21G_sinopt -ddi 1 1 R52 -scr /home/gerolf/Documents/exercise_saravana/ex1
Distributed Data Interface kickoff program.
Initiating 1 compute processes on 1 nodes to run the following command:
/usr/bin/gamess.00.x H20_3_21G_sinopt
Error: Gethostbyname(R52) returned HOST_NOT_FOUND.
ddikick.x: Fatal error detected.
The error is most likely to be in the application, so check for
input errors, disk space, memory needs, application bugs, etc.
ddikick.x will now clean up all processes, and exit...
ddikick.x: No DDI processes to kill.
ddikick.x: Execution terminated due to error(s).

What can I do?
Best regards. |

Isn't working: Code: | emerge -qpv gamess | grep required | tail -n 1 >>
/etc/portage/package.accept_keywords |
After the file edit and finally emerge:
Code: | >>> Failed to emerge sci-chemistry/gamess-20110811.1 |
, Log file:

It says to download manually. On their site (as per link) - they offer registration form with your organisation for the request for source code. _________________ Phenom X2 560
