Quote: | Kernel
You need to activate the following kernel options: |
Code: | # Processor type and features
<*> /dev/cpu/microcode - microcode support
[ ] Intel microcode patch loading support
[*] AMD microcode patch loading support
# Device Drivers
# Generic Driver Options
CONFIG_EXTRA_FIRMWARE="amd-ucode/microcode_amd.bin amd-ucode/microcode_amd_fam15h.bin"
CONFIG_EXTRA_FIRMWARE_DIR="/lib/firmware" |
Then
and reboot.
For more general infomation microcode patch for AMD? [SOLVED] _________________ An A-Z Index of the Linux BASH command line |

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "sys-firmware/amd-ucode".
So does this mean we have to download firmware from that Fedora link every time now? |
