J.R. was awesome because of Hagman. He hasn't looked well in quite a while.
Saw an interview where he commented that J.R. would love the renewable energy sources because it was a place to make money :D

Can't stand the theme song though.

The theme was ripped off from a traditional Tuvan melody. Play the Kargiraa duet "Artii-Sayir" track (109)

The more I think about it, it's not the song alone that makes it cheesy, but the whole intro - movie + song.

I didn't watch the show much, but my memory was that the visuals of the intro are fairly standard. Scenes from episodes and/or familiar sights within the show (such as the flyover of the ranch).
