Try and find the Fairport Convention track somewhere else if you can. It's worth the effort. It's from the album "What We Did on Our Holidays". Right now I'm listening to Reynardine from "Liege & Lief".

Cover of a classic.

:D

Bought the DVD because of Peart's drum solo. Love that concert.

I'm currently listening to the piece I can't stop playing on the piano :

Opus 109, the total immersion into the key of E. Orgasm from 16:21 forward.

Unfortunately I cannot watch this :(.
(Unfortunately, this EMI-music-content is not available in Germany because GEMA has not granted the respective music publishing rights.)

Good performance. Not overly romantic. (I'm looking at you, Alfred Brendel.)

Wagner: Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg

The first 12 minutes or so. Love the masterful transition from prelude to chorus around the 9:00 minute mark.

And of course you'll want to hear the opera's payoff: the prize song.

What's the deal with Sibelius? A very uneven composer, with some great music mixed in with many truly unremarkable offerings. Anyway, here's a great one: Sibelius Symphony no 5.

Parsifal

The Met's new production (starring Jonas Kauffman!) will be in theaters in March, just in time for global Wagnermania (bicentenary).
