| I'd like to compile jack and its dependencies on my Gentoo ARM system for my Tiny Core ARM system. The necessary packages in portage don't have static USE flags, so I think I will need to compile each package manually from source and create an archive I can extract onto Tiny Core. I've always used portage to install packages so I don't know how to go about this. Can someone tell me how to compile these packages in a way that will let me archive them and extract onto a different system? |

Hello,
I guess you need to cross-compile using crossdev. _________________ Xavier Miller
