ehh...

So I visited gentoo forum the other day,
saw "Bash: Multiple vulnerabilities" thread,
so I eix bash and I have ok version.
But among eix results I saw bashish...

So I checked it out and emerged it.
Nice, but not for me, not right now...

So I unmerged it.

Now as I start tty and xterm I have this thing:
Code:
bash: _bashish_utfcheck: command not found
bash: /usr/share/bashish/main/prompt/sh/init: No such file or directory
grom@compaq ~ $

(I googled these lines, but I guess I do not understand results)

as inquisitor as I am,
I also ran bashish as root,
so that user is also 'infected'

How can I clean this mess?

Thank you

I don't know bashish, but it looks like it infested the shell initialisation files, check /etc/profile, /etc/bash/bashrc/ ~/.bashrc ~/.bash_profile ~/.profile and may be /etc/profile.d/*sh and so on for lines/files added with bashish

EDIT:
Also, you can reinstall it, then, from this page, you can run
Code:
bashish --uninstall

Hello truc,

and big THANK YOU for idea: "Also, you can reinstall it, then, from this page, you can run bashish --uninstall"

I thought that unemerging bashish will do the job,
but this bashish had a trick up his sleeve, kheh.

Thanks again truc.
