when I use vlc to play some mkv, the program make a lot of noise.

The vlc put these message

So I have add the pulseaudio use.
I search google and can not find effective solution.

Same problem here with MKV files (~amd64, kernel 3.5.3, KDE 4.9.1, pulseaudio and gstreamer engine). Very noisy for SMPlayer and VLC. Works very well with a "raw' mplayer.
And same thing with a "stable" system (x86, kernel 3.4.8, KDE 4.8.5, pulseaudio and gstreamer engine).

I have not find it. I can use Mplayer to play these video.
