Felt a need to reply to this sine the naked rambler was in jail in my town a few months back. Why don't they just let the guy finish his walk across scotland and be done with it? The police are basically harassing the guy. He gets let out and instantly re-arrested about 100 yards down the street.
Also, there's no such thing as trespassing in Scotland, you have a legal right to roam (through the countryside, not someone's back garden). And you don't really need to worry about your tax dollars since it's in the UK.

I live in the UK, so it is my tax dollars being used to jail this guy. |

What's the deal with nudity anyway, is this some monotheistic thing where we pretend we are not primates (albeit highly evolved ones)?
I mean I understand that we don't go around naked all the time, but to make such a big issue out of it and punish it as if it were some serious business? Really?

I say we can't have public nudity until we have proper toilet procedures that include washing your ass, and not just wiping with paper.
Also, if we have public nudity, anybody who's ass or crotch smells funky should get a ticket and be made to wash it on the spot.

It's not that, you lose social cohesion by degrees - tolerate this and what's next to argue for ?

We get taxed to pay for Chavs to live on the dole... our money is being taken, by force, and given to the absolute scumbags of society so they can continue to pump out kids and demand more from us. That is 1000x more offensive to me than letting some guy walk around as he was born.
