I've been running MythTV for a bit less than a year now off of the upstream source, and at the moment I'm at mythtv-0.24.2_p<something>. I've been having other problems around here, and have masked the move to 0.25.x for the past few weeks.
But I see now that portage has mythtv-0.25.2_p20120716 - newer than what's in the upstream distribution.
I seem to remember that you can only upgrade one schema step at a time. But is 0.24.2 -> 0.25.2 only one schema step, or is it really two or even three? In other words, do I need to upgrade to 0.25.1 first, or can I go directly to 0.25.2? I guess I would hope that schema steps would go with the 0.24 / 0.25, not the stuff after the last decimal. _________________ .sigs waste space and bandwidth |

I chickened out, and upgraded to 0.25.1 for a month or two. Now I'm at 0.25.2. _________________ .sigs waste space and bandwidth |

Looks like .26 is out now. Hopefully, we'll be able to emerge it soon. |
