[SOLVED] xkeyboard-config-2.7 messes up key config

Today I noticed that 2.7 made some unusual changes to my keyboard configuration. The ~ suddenly became a "dead" key, while ' and ` still worked as "non-dead" keys. Pressing the right SUPER key together with SHIFT and other keys produced other special characters, which has not been the case before. I switched back to 2.6, which solved all the problems. I only mention this in case someone suffers from the same problem.
