hi everythings been fine for like 9 months or so then the latest update brought me this nice little present:

Code:
loz@UniMatrix0: pts/0: 3 files 568Kb -> su
Password:
bash: cannot set terminal process group (-1): Inappropriate ioctl for device
bash: no job control in this shell

this happens on 2 different desktop env's (kde4 & xfce4) & in the normal terminals prior 2 x, theres been no real changes either systems just updates n trivial config changes as per normal.

<EDIT>

surely someone else has seen this, its a very annoying problem, makes it hard working with my pc's for example:

Code:
Wolf359 ~ # ping google.com
PING google.com (173.194.34.128) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from lhr14s21-in-f0.1e100.net (173.194.34.128): icmp_req=1 ttl=56 time=27.5 ms
64 bytes from lhr14s21-in-f0.1e100.net (173.194.34.128): icmp_req=2 ttl=53 time=22.2 ms
^C
Session terminated, terminating shell...64 bytes from lhr14s21-in-f0.1e100.net (173.194.34.128): icmp_req=3 ttl=56 time=17.1 ms
64 bytes from lhr14s21-in-f0.1e100.net (173.194.34.128): icmp_req=4 ttl=56 time=18.7 ms
 ...killed.
(i pressed control + c here)
Code:
loz@Wolf359 ~ $ 64 bytes from lhr14s21-in-f0.1e100.net (173.194.34.128): icmp_req=5 ttl=55 time=17.9 ms
^C
loz@Wolf359 ~ $ 64 bytes from lhr14s21-in-f0.1e100.net (173.194.34.128): icmp_req=6 ttl=56 time=17.7 ms
64 bytes from lhr14s21-in-f0.1e100.net (173.194.34.128): icmp_req=7 ttl=56 time=19.6 ms
64 bytes from lhr14s21-in-f0.1e100.net (173.194.34.128): icmp_req=8 ttl=55 time=16.1 ms

But things dont terminate properly and it continues here on its own, i have 2 open another tab/console just to kill whatever app is running in the first one, ive searched through all me logs & on these forums & google & have not got a clue why this has started happening, has anyone got ANY ideas at all PLEASE???? </EDIT>
