Hello,
I am trying to install Gentoo, but the system did not recognize my Ethernet and wireless network.
Could I install the driver in the installation?
I need to execute de emerge in the system and I stopped the installation there.

to make it clear:
you have started the installation and your network card is not being recognized, when you start an emerge process. where did you get the portage snapshot and the stage 3 archive? did you download it on this machine? are you allready in the chroot environement and your emerge --sync is failing? or have you successfully installed your system, but lack the driver for your ehternet card in the kernel? could you be a little bit more percise? |

I downloaded the stage3 and portage by other computer and only decompressed in the system installation.
My network is not working, I tried to active the module, but the module doesn't exists.
What need I to do to emerge the system?

first of all, leave the chroot environement. after that, try to ping some host on your network by ip address. if that works, check if you can ping a webpage on the internet. if the ping by ip does not work, post the output of ifconfig eth0. if you do not see an ip address and you are having a dhcp server in your network, try the command
if this gets you an ip address, everything is fine and you can copy /etc/resolv.conf to your chroot environement and chroot again.
also, it would be interesting, which network card (not the wireless) you have. if you don't know, use lspci (-n) output. |

But, when I try to up the eth0:
I receive the message saying my device is not found. |

Make life easy, use a system rescue cd in place of the minimal install cd. Highly likely that sysresccd will find both nic and wireless.

How to use this?
I do not create a USBLive Gentoo, only create system rescue or both need I to create?

Do you have a switch to control your wireless too?
It may be a Fn key combination ... try operating it then check ifconfig -a again.
ath9k is correct for your hardware.

My computer has this and I tried but nothing ..
I think my problem is the Kernel version.
The Kernel version avaliable to me is the 3.2, but my computer needs 3.4 or more
where could I get this kernel version to install?

if you made a systemrescuecd livecd or systemrescuecd liveusb you should be able to boot it and get wireless connection for an ath9k wireless nic. systemrescuecd/usb is a direct substitute for the gentoo minimal install cd/usb. boot systemrescue to the xfce desktop, look for network manager icon in the lower right corner
