boot the dvd
mount the gentoo partitions
enter the chroot
Code: | emerge --unmerge genkernel gentoo-sources
rm /usr/src/linux/.config

You can add
Code: |
=sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-3.5.3
|
to your (chrooted) /etc/portage/package.keywords, and then do 'emerge --sync'.
This way you can try with the newest kernel available. _________________ BTW, TWM FTW! |

thanks for your help.
added =sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-3.5.3
then
Code: | emerge --sync
emerge gentoo-sources
genkernel --kerneldir=/usr/src/linux-3.5.3-gentoo all
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg |
now everything work fine. |
