My webcam "logitech quickcam" seems to be detected

"lsusb |grep Cam
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 046d:09a4 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam E 3500"

I am using Genkernel, I have already ensured that L4L drivers / video capture is enabled in the kernel so i'm not sure why it is still complaining about V4L "video 4 linux"

I have my user enabled in the video group

Any other ideas???

hhmmmm

I seem to have fixed it now..... Not sure "exactly" what fixed it... I've been messing with enabling a bunch of V4L support in the kernel, adding V4L and V4L2 in my Use Flags and after a reboot it now works.....

woot

solved
