Hi Guys i have installed gentoo and can boot ok, but i noticed /boot is emtpy. is that normal?

The default /etc/fstab sets /boot as "noauto", which means it doesn't automatically get mounted. Just do a "mount /boot" as root, and everything should show up (remember to do this before kernel upgrades). If this bothers you, just remove "noauto" from /etc/fstab and let it mount automatically.

I think no auto mounting /boot partition is good idea. I'm using it for ages on every distribution (I always create /boot part)

You need this partion only while system booting and recompiling GRUB and kernel.
