Hi :)

I have a small PC with a NVIDIA GT218-ION card connected to the TV (HDMI) with a Gentoo and XBMC, everything work flawlessly except some videos. Every 4 or 5 seconds those videos make a short stop. I can't find anything strange in the logs.

I tried XBMC-11.0 and XBMC-9999 without luck

Any of you have any clue about this thing? The same thing happened to me months ago in other computer with a AMD E-350 and I never found the solution.

Thanks :)

Are you playing your videos from an external hard drive?

Nop, the same hard drive as the OS.

Sorry for not attaching anything, I don't have any idea where is the problem.

Have you tried it with a fresh ~/.xbmc folder? Also, are you using VDPAU?

I deleted the folder, I started again and nothing new.

And yes, I activated vdpau USE, also I have vaapi and g3dvl Nothing more. Here are my USE list:

nUSE="-gnome -gtk -kde -kdeenablefinal -ldap -qt3 -qt3support -qt4 -cups -bluetooth"
yUSE="nls userlocales udev vaapi vdpau g3dvl"
USE="$nUSE $yUSE"

EDIT: I don't know if this is important but I have a 64bits OS.
EDIT AGAIN: This is the Xorg.log when I connect the PC to my TV

And this when I use my VGA monitor

I see EDID warnings...

Thanks :)

I think I found something.

I turned on the debug mode in XBMC and in video playback the FPS are between 20 and 24. So I take a look at the xbmc debug log and I found this:

Code:
DEBUG: CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuity - was:1110297.093000, should be:1068637.732677, error:-41659.360323

The complete file: http://pastebin.com/DU6BiRWF

I found no solution around the web :(
