hey i using 2 haproxies i.e one master and slave plus i have two backend server which are also working in master-slave mode
I have a requirement now.Due to lack of ipv4 address , i want use virtual ip from my one of haproxies system .
here is my requirement i have a rackspace with 2 internal ip address and two external ip ..i just want to know if possible to set keepalive with one of this four ip itself..i mean i can set haporxies on inetrnal ip and then making keepalive listen to them but the problem is that keepalive listen to eth0 by default .and the range of intrnal ip and external ip are different so may this will cause some problem..pls suggest something. |

google "haproxy keepalived"
and ready the first 4 - 5 hits,
the scenario you descibe is the default. keepalived can be configired to listen on different int than eth0.
internal and external ip subnet can be totally different.... |
