|
|
Ok, this is a stupid thing to ask, but I just can't figure it out.
I have installed ufo-ai, and it seemed to install fine.
When I try to start it, there are 3 ufo files that show up in contents: ufoded, ufo2map, and ufomodel.
The ufo2map and ufomodel are tools for maps, and ship models (I guess from the help file).
When I start ufoded, all I get is a a listing from a server, but no game. Is there some console command that needs to be entered or something that I failed to install?
It's been awhile since I played it, but didn't think that it would be a hassle to even start!
I have both the ufoai-data and the ufoai-source files in distfiles. Any suggestions? _________________ Knute

You propably have set "dedicated" in USE? Try unsetting it, setting it will only install the dedicated server. You will still get the dedicated server binary "ufoded". The binary for the game is "ufo". |

Yeah. I had dedicated. I'll unset that and try it again.
Thanks _________________ Knute
