Hello,
I'm trying to get my printer working. I must install some drivers i think. I found ones (.run file), but it gives me error when runned:
| Code: | Creating directory hplip-3.11.5
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing HPLIP 3.11.5 Self Extracting Archive......................................
File "./install.py", line 91
sys.exit(0)
^
TabError: inconsistent use of tabs and spaces in indentation |
What's the problem?

Thou shalt not try and install anything by hand if it's in portage. Even if it's not in portage you should write an ebuild instead. _________________ Please learn how to denote units correctly! |

Okay the printer is working. But i came across another problem - how can I scan files? Hardware button doesn't work - orange diode is blinking. As for sotware, i cannot find scanning option anywhere...
//edit
Okay it's pretty easy. Just use flag "scanner" and then emerge some scanning software, ex. xsane |
