|
|
There's been a serious lack discipline around here with regards to sentries following their eleven general orders.
All section chiefs will immediately reiterate the following to their service members:
- To take charge of this table and all drinks within reach.
- To walk quickly to and from the head/latrine to prevent serious interference with drinking.
- To report all soda drinkers to the battalion commander or other commanding officer.
- To repeat all calls for refills from buddies too far gone to be heard.
- To quit my table only when satisfied there is no more to drink.
- To receive, put away, or pass on to anyone who can handle them all shots from the bartender, waitress, cooks, dishwasher, and all helpers of the bar for that matter.
- To talk to no one who drinks soft drinks.
- To give the alarm in case of "last call" so that all present may get the maximum benefit from the time remaining.
- To call long and loud if the drinks seem to be coming too slowly.
- To salute all Bourbon, Scotch and Gin not corked.
- To be especially watchful for nights that the drinks are free, and during the times that the liquors are running short, to challenge anyone who seems to be getting more to drink than myself, and to allow no one to get drunker than I do.

Why are you pretending like you are still in the army? Didn't you quit and go to college? _________________ At some stage, the Hindus locked on to the nation destroying concepts like ahimsa (non-violence), shanti (peace), satya (truth) — the ‘ass’ syndrome. |

Even in civilian life, veterans still have a duty to uphold! This is outlined above. |

Isn't it a little early to start drinking?

I'm a little disappointed there's no rule for 'shouting'
| Quote: | A round of drinks is a set of alcoholic beverages purchased by one person in a group for that complete group. The purchaser buys the round of drinks as a single order at the bar. In many places it is customary for people to take turns buying rounds.
It is a ubiquitous custom in Ireland, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia. In Australia and New Zealand it is referred to as shouting. This practice is also customary in many parts of North America, especially in areas where people with cultural roots in Ireland and the UK predominate. A notable exception was the UK State Management Scheme in which treating (i.e. buying a round) was forbidden, from July 1916 until June 1919. |
