Yesterday I just tried the new 1.5.6 non-patched (AFAIK 2 of the 4 patches were finally accepted ) and it works out of the box with D3. The launcher runs and seems to check for updates just fine (I have to wait for d3-1.0.3 to come out to truly check if it updates or not, but seems ok right now) and the game itself runs fine as it did with the patched 1.5.4.
Cheers, |

Cool, it's always good when upstream makes you obsolete _________________ 1+1=11=2 |

| Just to throw in my experience i have tested Diablo 3 with wine 1.5.8 unpatched and it works without a hitch. It seems that the claim that this as been fixed in official wine is true. |
