Good morning,
I need some help with the GCC.
I'm trying to emerge --update --newuse gcc, but it was an error when
trying to emerge it.

No expert here, but I ran into this recently when gcc was upgraded and I did a depclean too soon. Fixed it by doing:

And after this, when i tried to compile gcc again, same error.

In my CFLAGS it was -O2 (oh two) and not -02 (zero two). But thanks for the help.
Anyone has any other ideia?? |

except it's O2 already in the quote you've made
in fact, it's inverse in your own quote -> -02 ('oh'..) and -O2 ('zero'...)

Yes, my bad. When I look at the output of the terminal the font is such that the two are the inverse of that used in ff, and as I've made this mistake myself in the past I'd assumed this was what was happening in the OP's case. Not having slept for 48hr probably didn't help!

Two more ideas.
First, you got this: * gcc-config: Profile does not exist or invalid setting for /etc/env.d/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.5.3
I'd check /etc/env.d/gcc for invalid entries and remove them if found.
Second, I had once this problem myself and it was a typo in make.conf. Have a good look at your make.conf.
