I have a odd problem with Dolby and dts digital pass through over optical to my receiver. I am not sure where to start troubleshooting. I see no errors.
Randomly my DTS and dolby will stop working. The receiver sees its dolby or dts but doesn't play anything. If i force it to do PCM it works without a problem. Also if i reboot the computer dts and dolby works but for a unknown amount of time and will just stop working. Sometimes right in the middle of a movie.
Im using HDA intel ALC887 DIgital.

do you got it unmuted? _________________ Now, with penguins, (cuddly such), "contented" means it has either just gotten laid, or it's stuffed on herring. Take it from me, I'm an expert on penguins, those are really the only two options.
