|
|
Hi everybody!
I recently updated to the new stable tuxonice-sources-3.0.17-r1. Everything works fine, but when I resume after hibernating, I regularly end up with a kernel panic. This is roughly the output I get (there was of course to possibility to just copy the output from screen):
| Quote: |
init[1]: segfault at 11 ip 08049548 sp bfe20cec error 6 in init [8048000+8000]
kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Pid: 1, comm: init Tainted: P
Call Trace:

Has anybody an idea what might go wrong here? In case any further information about my system is needed, I'm more than happy to provide it. |

| Can you reproduce the problem on an untainted kernel? Does it matter if you use the mainline hibernation support instead of the TuxOnIce support? |

| The problem does indeed not occur with a gentoo-sources kernel, to which I switched now. |
