And the violence begins... with a Democrat running over a Republican (to whom she happened to be married).
| Quote: | CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis., May 9 (UPI) -- A woman intent on voting for one candidate in Wisconsin's gubernatorial recall primary election ran over her estranged husband, who backed another, police say.
A police report stated the incident involved Amanda Radle, 30, a recall proponent, and Jeffery Radle, 36, who supports recall target Republican Gov. Scott Walker.
"She was planning on voting for a certain candidate and it wasn't the candidate he wanted her to vote for," Chippewa Falls Police Chief Wendy L. Stelter said.
Police said after the two argued, Jeffery Radle stubbornly stood in his estranged wife's path and at one point jumped on the vehicle hood as she was trying to drive to the polls Tuesday, the Chippewa Falls Herald and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. She allegedly didn't let his presence deter her and struck him with her sport utility vehicle, inflicting head, neck and back injuries that sent him to the hospital and led to her arrest, the newspapers said. |

So he stood in her path, not letting her go vote whoever she wanted? Fuck him. _________________ ~amd64 13.0 // linux-3.9 // gcc-4.8 // glibc-2.17 // xorg-server-1.14 // dwm-6.0 |

Right.
The estranged part in the relation had nothing to do with it, I guess. _________________ What looks like a cat, flies like a bat, brays like a donkey, and plays like a monkey? |

He even got on her car, apparently, at one point.

And neither did alcohol.
Still, I want it noted: the Democrats started the violence. _________________ Oldthinkers unbellyfeel INGSOC.

Under barely different circumstances, that's considered unlawful imprisonment. At a minimum, very bad example for who drew first blood. _________________ lolgov. It's just nonviolent resistance... which was met with violence. _________________ If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap |

What was nonviolent resistance? Preventing someone from leaving? Seems like it has to be more than that. There was a deliberate physical attempt to prevent someone else from leaving. Violence is an acceptable response IMO. Depending on the physical abilities of the two, whether or not an automobile was reasonable is a different issue. And if there was any credible fear for personal safety on her part, definitely a reasonable response. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

From the article, he wasn't being violent. He was just blocking her path. She should have called the police.
Running somebody over with your SUV for blocking your path is not acceptable, unless maybe somebody's life depends on you getting past them. _________________ Oldthinkers unbellyfeel INGSOC.

I wouldn't charge him with anything. He seems to have paid the price for his stupidity. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

They're both idiots. No wonder they were a couple. _________________ If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for the problems caused by government, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap |
