Just so you know, everything up until now wasn't campaigning, that was official business of the POTUS.

He didn't start campaigning until today.

I think this qualifies as one of those "observed" technicalities.

No, sometimes he's on vacation.

No point in stating the obvious. In an election year, he still has the lead and will crush Romney like bug under boot.

And we all descend into an Orwellian hell.

Four more years! Four more years! Hope and Change! Yes we can! What was it we were ... uh... yeah, anyway... four more years!

Romney is to Obama as Kerry was to Bush.

Republicans got the candidate they deserved.

Are you suggesting the Obama is going to "kill" Romney in the election? Seems as though you've confused Benedicto Kiwanuka and Joseph Mubiru.

Quote:
Among the most prominent people killed were Benedicto Kiwanuka, the former prime minister and chief justice; Janani Luwum, the Anglican archbishop; Joseph Mubiru

I thought Joseph Kiwanuka was eaten by Idi Amin.

No mention of Amin at all.

Exactly.

I don't get the reference.

See my previous post (first reply to BK referencing Joe K.)

Okay here's the thing: When BK mentioned the dude in the same sentence as Idi Amin, I thought he must have been eaten by Amin. Same as metaphorically speaking, Obama will have Romney for lunch and dinner. I then went to the wiki page, before you posted it to see how he was killed. No reference to cannibalism, therefore I was disappointed at a dud reference.

Pakistan Punjab Governor makes a joke about Idi Amin wrote:
"I am sorry Mrs Clinton," he said. "We used to ask distinguished visitors such as yourself to plant trees in the lawns of Governor House here. Even the Queen planted one."

"The tradition has stopped?" she replied.

"Well, Idi Amin planted one - but then he ate the gardener," was his response.

Yeah, I was too. That's when I went to Idi's page and found the apparent name confusion.

I think you two need work on your analogy skills. It goes deeper than "was killed by" or "was eaten by".

So, who are you referring to? Joseph Kiwanuka with no apparent connection to Amin, Benedicto Kiwanuka or Joseph Mubiru? Nothing on Joseph Kiwanuka's page suggest any relation. Unless that was your point.

I think he means Romney is a saintly figure, while Obama is man eating, authoritarian, communist.

Well, then he's wrong. Remember the shock at Bush winning a second term?

Obama is something of less value to the country than my last bowel movement. Romney, hopefully, won't be as worthless.

Okay... do you still see any fighting chance Romney has?

For instance, I heard from Obama yesterday, saying the things most of you say here on this forum.

"Let there be nation building at home."
"End of Afghan war will pay for recovery in America."

... and so on.

Granted he could just be saying these things to get elected but he's saying them nonetheless. What is Romney saying?

"President Obama taking credit for Osama raid is disappointing."

Romney will be our next president as of November 7th of this year. Your news feeds must be broken if you think that Obama has the necessary support to get a second term.

I have a bucket of pop-corn ready. I'd *really* like to see how this turns out.

Don't worry, you will see how this turns out.

Obama is playing with the unemployment numbers, saying that more people have decided to give up on their job search (therefore, having left the ranks of the "unemployed"). I think he will continue to fake those numbers, to get unemployment (on paper) below the 8.0% level. The probably already have a graph on the wall showing what unemployment numbers will be reported between now and the election.

Obama will kill Joseph Kony. This time he will have them hold him down and train a Barret .50 cal rifle on the body, so he can fly in, put on taktikal outfit, pull the trigger himself (somebody will have to show him where the trigger is and explain how to take the safety off), and have a photo taken standing with his foot on the corpse. I are teh King Dragronslayer! Then he will do his best to get the false modesty right this time, but being Obama, it will still come across as arrogant self-aggrandizement anyway.

Democrats will produce a flurry of stupid pro-women legislation that nobody should vote for because it's stupid, and they will load it up with riders making it impossible for Republicans to vote for it (things like unrelated spending, tax increases, authoritarian bullshit). They will use this to perpetuate the big red herring of the campaign -- teh zomg Repubikan wore on Wimmens!

Iran will keep a low profile for the next sixth months, because they know they can get their nukes if Obama if stays in office.

The Russians will keep a low profile for the next sixth months, because they know they can achieve and maintain strategic military superiority if Obama stays in office.

The Chinese will keep a low profile for the next sixth months, because they know if Obama stays in office, his deficit spending and anti-corporate policies will turn the U.S. into an economically and military weak foe, something along the lines of Europe.

Soon the voting registration fraud will begin in earnest, with ACORN 2.0 (under some other name -- perhaps pretending to be what's left of Occupy) taking the lead.
