|
|
Hi,
A minor irritation with sci-geosciences/googleearth is the lack of pax markings during install.
This seems to get it working, but so far it is untested:
| Code: | paxctl -cm /opt/googleearth/googleearth-bin
paxctl -cm /opt/googleearth/libIGGfx.so |
Is this correct or would it be better reading something like this?
| Code: | paxctl -cm /opt/googleearth/googleearth-bin
paxctl -cm /opt/googleearth/lib*.so |
Considering filing a bug with a request for pax. Thoughts, additions, corrections?
Changes are at lines 7, 21 & 135

| If you attach an ebuild modification to a bug report, it is better to submit it as a diff, rather than reposting the full text. |

Yep, I realise that... it was posted here in full for forum input, before going further.
Any other installed GE files which require pax changes?
Cheers |
