|
|
Hello,
I've just upgraded gtk from 3.2 to 3.4 and my theme is completely broken: wrong colors, widgets, etc... Could anybody point me to anything that helps migrating/adopt old themes to the new gtk version...
Thanks in advance,
Vlad.
P.S. It's VERY VERY disappointing.... |

me too!
Especially the editor-panels (gedit, evolution) are completely unusable now. (white fonts on white background or black fonts on dark background).
Fixing linkage did not help, software packages are up-to-date and valid.
GTK2 apps are still working fine though.
Best regards |

Looks like it is an issue with the themes itselves, which need to be updates for compliance with gtk-3.4
I just tried it with Orion, and it seems to work now. Unfortunately no update for Zukwito and BorderLine yet.
Btw: Are there any other slim, non-blue themes for GTK3 which work well on a netbook? Like Candido? No round border, huge gaps, massive scrollbars please...
Best regards! |

I'm hoping for an update of the malysUNISEX themes I found in gnome-look. Fantastic dark theme, but the widgets are all effed up when gtk upgraded. Grrr. I'll keep looking around, but I love that theme. _________________ I am a flying cow... worship me or DIE!!!
