Whenever I try to interact with, say, the wireless applet at the top, the gnome shell crashes with a useless error. I did find, however, in the logs:

Any ideas?
EDIT: It happens with pretty much any applet.

try enable gallium with:
eselect mesa list
for you display card...That should work. |

| Thanks for that, my gnome wouldn't even start due to the same problem. Followed the advice on all other forum posts then lucked out finding this one. |
