Seriously, it's as if they stopped making it. Budweiser made one beer that tasted good, and then they stopped. What...is there a law against them making anything good?! Maybe they achieved awesomeness and just didn't know how to handle it.
EDIT: I'm drinking Bud Light Platinum right now, and there's nothing "platinum" about it. It's alcoholic piss. |

If it is as good as you say, my guess is the typical buyer of Bud didn't like it. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

I'm drinking Miller Lite. It's swill but I have two excuses: 1) I'm dieting and can't drink a proper beer, 2) I spent all my money on my kid and can't afford a proper beer. What's your excuse for drinking swill? _________________ Your argument is invalid. |

Growler's can often be affordable, and they're infinitely better. Unless you need a 30-pack, in which case, carry on. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

I went to Walmart to buy swim trunks. They had a sale on cases of Miller Lite. Cheaper than Coke, per ounce. And no, I didn't take off my monocle. _________________ Your argument is invalid. |

I'd rather spend the same amount on a single good beer than a case of unpotable water. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

Agreed. If you really need something cheap to drink, go for cheap red wine. A $5 bottle should last you a couple of nights, and tastes infinitely better than generic light beer. |

Sometimes. But sometimes quantity is important too. Setting also matters. In my case, I was going boating all day with nine other guys (bachelor party). A case of beer makes more sense in that setting that a bottle of wine. Of course I ended up not taking the beer, so now I can have two or three beers per day for 12-8 days. A similar volume of $5 red wine would have cost $60. _________________ Your argument is invalid. |

I went to a bachelor party about a year ago, and there were cases of Miller Light everywhere. It was like being in college again. Except not nearly as fun. I guess I am just too old for that. I work hard and spend conservatively, so that I never have to drink cheap beer.

Over a week of nothing but Miller Light? I guess greatnews is right, there is a hell. |

How's Breaking Bad coming along, R? Last we spoke you were watching an episode every two weeks or thereabout. _________________ Your argument is invalid. |

I am at the beginning of season 2. I like it, but watching is a fairly brutal experience. I can only handle it in small doses.
Also, we got sidetracked a bit when my wife got into Downton Abbey. That probably explains my sudden FGO proclivities which you commented on earlier. |
