I think Israel has shown more restraint in dealing with its situation than any other country would have. |
Now that is just wishful thinking buddy. They are enroaching. If you are religious but not a jew, you think you are. If you are atheist and dont give flying fuck for the rights to the holy ground, you still think you are.
I don't see how could you believe they are not, unless you are wearing some other kind of glasses, and looking at wrong TV channel?  |

I'm an atheist, and my family is Scandinavian. I simply don't buy into the Arab propaganda that so many others do.
What would Russia do if one of its border states were lobbing rockets at it constantly? What would any other country do? If Israel didn't show the restraint that it shows there would not be any neighbor states bordering it.

being an atheist and Scandinavian doesn't make you automatically right. Look at scandinavia now. It is a self-perpetuating myth the scandinavians have "självgode svensken". Truth is, scandinavians don't want to deal with anything ugly. They live inside their mental bubble where everybody else is "barbarian". Sure they may be barbarians. But what are you gonna do about it. Keep hiding in your IKEA wooden box? Rest of the world is dynamic, and it doesnt stand still.
Scandianavian mentality comes from being isolated in an ice box for centuries, they never had to deal with romans, with ottomans, habsburg empire, swedes dodged ww2. It is easy to throw wise remarks from the sidelines, but nobody gives a damn.
Very opinionated people, which is great when dealing with other people who care about your opinion. When they don't what then?
If israeli leadership is actively pushing for israeli dominance and settlements, and at the same time islamic scholars are actively pushing for islamic dominance in the europe and the world, shooting smart comments about how primitive they are doesn't help when they are in your house too.
I'm atheist as well, but that doesn't mean that I dont get bombed by some religious nutcase, as serbes proved in Jugoslav wars. |

Sorry, I was just refering to experience of modern rational world meeting religious horde who live in middle ages, think you are devil (because the book said so), have guns and numbers. All you have are words, which they couldnt understand even if they chose to, but most likely will regard anything you say as weakness or blasphemy.
Thats why religion is sick. |

there is no propaganda with regards to settlements. israel admits they aren't supposed to do it and they admit doing it.
oh. russia would invade. but that wouldn't made they were justified or that the neighbouring state was not. |
