The version is 2.32. It has a story to tell...!
gvfs works GREAT without gdu...or what ever that voxel is called. With it (a dependency btw) everyting gets +30% cpu with governor userbased CPU...
So...Are we microsoft going sharted and saying - microsoft sucks!!
Me, my self and Ivan says differently.
MS has always been a sucker, but GNOME is .... bad. I will go ncursor4 from now on....if nothing change, /bin/bash
Change is always bad or better to the observer, right? Well...
I do like my linguistic ability. I excell!

Shape up dude. You're not cool. Not cool at all.
To the more serious side, I have had some difficulties extrapolating the errors I have encountered on this one. gvfs and dbus is involved for sure. Processess differs from 270-420 in a timeframe of a second.
That is just not right. I THINK it can have with a %gconf file and a bug between udev, dbus and gvfs. I am still on a hunt.
Just had to put things in one place, and sometimes I might just get lucky... |

FYI> I am driving ( not running ) gvfs with USE=-gdu and Gnome works like a charm ( en_GB keys though ). I dont know why. It ( the USE-flag ) is supposed to be there to build the dwarf..
The auto-mounting of my android phone is not working, but I can live without that.
/sbin/blkpid was going nuts at times trying to 'mount' that biach without success. And killing it made the 'killer' hunt that process like a ghost in a fog ( looping ).
Nautilus and other disk-related/udev/polkit abra-kadabra was in chaos. Not so now.
Workarounds... |
