Hello,

i'm trying to cross compiler.
Code:
crossdev -t arm-softfloat-linux-gnueabi

But it fails with:
Code:
 * binutils failed :(
 * If you file a bug, please attach the following logfiles:
 * /var/log/portage/cross-arm-softfloat-linux-gnueabi-info.log
 * /var/log/portage/cross-arm-softfloat-linux-gnueabi-binutils.log

/var/log/portage/cross-arm-softfloat-linux-gnueabi-info.log
/var/log/portage/cross-arm-softfloat-linux-gnueabi-binutils.log

Does someone know why this fails?

your portage tree (or the parts created by crossdev) are damaged.

Code:

crossdev -C arm-softfloat-linux-gnueabi
emerge crossdev
USE="nopie nossp" crossdev -t arm-softfloat-linux-gnueabi --b 2.22-r1 --g 4.6.2 --k 3.2 --l 2.14.1-r2 --ex-gdb

it will fail in gcc-stage2; repeat the above with USE="nopie nossp cxx -nocxx" and you'll get the c++ compiler as well.

That's as helpful as telling a doctor "it hurts" when someone cut off a leg...
At least tell us where it broke and some logs
