games like freeciv?

As I am a bit interested in sociology and human behaviour I am looking for a game simulating big societys and their way to facism and back.

Freeciv is one of those and I am looking now for more complex simulations.

Any good looking suggestions?

Have you looked at wine appDB?

It can give you some guidance about the kind of game you're looking for and it will say aswell if the game is working on linux or not.

In the link I gave you before there are a lot of games (basically windows games), but I guess you're looking something like opencity, OpenTTD or even lincity, C-evo (windows only, working with wine though)
