|
|
I just built my first Gentoo system and am assuming I have a missing dependency on some graphics lib somewhere. The games plays fine except that when viewing the contents of my inventory or stores inventory the armor images are displayed with (I don't have a good word for it) with white bars going through them all... It looks to me like alpha-blending is not working, but only for the armor type images.
Not sure what would be most helpful, graphics libs I have installed so far to attempt to fix this are:
media-libs/imlib
media-libs/imlib2
media-libs/sdl-gfx
media-libs/sdl-image
media-libs/sdl-ttf
media-libs/sge
media-libs/svgalib
Anyone seen this before? Any suggestions? |

It may be video driver issue. Try different driver.
It would be also good to set lowest graphic options and check if it still happens. |

My little old machine is a Dell Dimension 2400 (about 10 yrs old). Has an integrated video card.
Using the intel and intel-agp drivers compiled into the kernel. There are no other drivers available. All the 3d tests programs and performance tools are working as expected.
I tried all the different settings in the graphics options, from lowest quality to highest, made no difference.
Am currently stumped... |

I can't help much then.
I can only say NWN worked fine for me years ago with GeForce MX 440, Geforce 6600 and now with integrated Radeon 3300 (however I didn't play it lately, but I run it and there wasn't any problems). |
