Don't know why...
I recently noticed new versions of ogle and xine, so decided to upgrade them and libdvdcss, but to my dismay dvd's that worked fine before failed in both ogle and xine:
libdvdread: Get key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_16_0.VOB at 0x001ffdc1
libdvdcss error: ioctl_ReadTitleKey failed
libdvdcss error: fatal error in vts css key
libdvdread: Error cracking CSS key for /VIDEO_TS/VTS_16_0.VOB (0x001ffdc1)
libdvdread: Elapsed time 0
etc, etc, for every key on the disk. Non-encrypted dvds work fine, and unmerging libdvdcss 1.2.0 and remerging 1.1.1-r2 works.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Ken |

Now you made me hope going back to libdvdcss-1.1.1 would solve my problem also, but it didn't. Even with 1.1.1 I can't play most of my DVDs.
So do you also get somethink like [kernel] sr0: CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST. in syslog when trying to play the DVDs that don't work with 1.2.0?
Regards,
Larde. |
