|
|
I did install gentoo 1.3b stage2 and its working now, but when trying to install kde with emerge kde-base/kdebase it freezes in kdelibs.
I did install all packages which emerge --pretend kde-base/kdebase did list. and now there is missing only kdebase and kdelibs.
I did install gnome and it works fine, but I like more KDE3.
should I try gentoo 1.2 or 1.3a or whats wrong ?
my computer is 1400GHz@1365MHZ athlon tb, 512Mb ram, Asus A7V, geforce2mx. |

If you're asking me, no, I'm not really concerned about the version number. I'm trying to get your question to reach the people who are most likely to have seen it before, and can help, and that, in my opinion, would be the KDE experts in Desktop Environments.
Installing Gentoo is for problems encountered encountered during the scope of the installation guide. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
