Hey all

Has anyone been successful in compiling and running mol in recent kernels? (Im running 2637r4)

Ive tried the current SVN, even tried pausing the compile and replacing files as explained in https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-756440-start-0.html
The above gets to the end, but then failed with "unconfigured kernel source"

I then set up a local portage overlay, applied all the patches I could find to the latest mol ebuild, including ones to my current kernel, but I always get "Unconfigured kernel source"

Anyone had any success?

oh yes, i agree, i used it quite a lot too and it worked very well for the basic stuff i did with it.
Main problem probably is to keep it in sync with mainline, its a bloody mess to have something like mol maintained outside of the tree.

Maybe JoseJX can say more about this, hopefully it isnt completely dead after all.

cheers
