|
|
Hi all,
my Gentoo Box is running now with gcc 3.1-r7 (emerge -e world) but now i have a big problem.
If i try to compile the linux-sources-2.4.19-r1 it breaks at XFS with an assembly error (bsf).
Ok.. so i tried the gentoo sources-2.4.19-r7 and they compile great. So far i copied the bzImage to /boot and rebooted.
Now i select linux within grub and then
Code: |
Error 13 : Unrecognized File Format
|
ok.. so far i load my old kernel.
Now when i open the kernel (vim) i see that there is no ELF Header at the gcc-3.1 Kernel?
What did i wrong?
I tried mrproper, make oldconfig, make dep bzImage
nothing works..
can someone help me?
Cheers,

arg ..
Problem solved
GCC 3.1 compiles the kernel great.
In emerge -e world wasn't grub listed so grub wasn't build for the new system!
So i reemerged grub and now it works!
Silly Problem |
