|
|
I'd like to know, if/how I can use the combo of wiimote+classic controller to play GameCube games via the dolphin emulator? Both my cube and the wii are in the living room, but I'd like to sometimes play in my work room, thus the emu is required and basically working, meaning it runs and I can use the wiimote in wii games, but I can't figure out how to use this combo for my gamecube games and Prime/WW aren't really playable with keyboard only.
I found some solutions for Win32, incorporating some things as glovepie, etc, but I dunno how to get the same thing done under linux, so help is welcome. Thanks. _________________ Want to thank me for something? Send me a nice postcard(ask per pm for my address), thank you!

cwiid? Haven't used it in a while but it should make the controller show up as a plain HID gamepad. _________________ sig temporarily out of order |

Works like a charm, thank you.
Somehow dolphin had problems registering some buttons, mostly up&left on the thumbsticks - maybe I didn't push them 100% in the desired direction - but editing the config by hand did the trick.
Still a shame, though, NSMBW runs only at ~40% of normal speed on my Core i7, so maybe I'd be better of laying some cables _________________ Want to thank me for something? Send me a nice postcard(ask per pm for my address), thank you! |

I've seen dolphin run NSMB at 60fps when "EFB copy to texture" option of the graphics plugin is set on, whithout that it run at best around 20~25fps.It was on a windows machine from a friend of mine, i5 750 and gtx 260 IIRC.
Mind you that with that EFB copy to texture some animations are not displayed correctly.
