Can't get iBook G3 to boot from gentoo install cd?[SOLVED]

Hi all,

I just burned the latest minimal PPC iso....I'm starting the iBook G3...when the sound starts...tried holding down the 'c' key...
I hear the drive spin, but it still boots to OSX

Any ideas?

ps. I'd put gentoo on this laptop a long time ago...and it booted the cd, so not sure what's going wrong now.

Please excuse.

I guess I'm having a senior moment...I thnk first time I burned it (from a windows box), I burned the .iso ON the cd....instead of burning the CD FROM the image.

It is booting up now.

I read that ppc32 needed to be selected, that G5 was default..and this appears to be working.
