|
On Debian and Arch I am running the following firefox - firefox-4.0b10pre.en-US.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2
On these two platforms, Firefox runs Flash, Java etc without a problem.
However there seems to be a problem in Gentoo. All three happen to share the same config space. So no matter which distro I load, it opens up in the last place I was.
Yet Gentoo seems to be not picking up the flash. What is causing this. Part of the problem here is that I am more than 6 months out of the loop and I am not finding anything in the forums which seems obvious to solving the flash problem on a 64-bit Gentoo install

| Make sure you install >=adobe-flash-10.2; 10.1 is 32-bit only. You may need to add it to package.keywords if you run a stable system. |
