Witam
Gdy uruchamiam system przez gdm, wszystko jest ok.
Jednak gdm zamierzam wywalić, i przeprowadzić się na logowanie przez konsolę, ewentulanie podoba mi się slim.
I tu jest jeden kłopot: kiedy uruchamiam środowisko graficzne przez startx, gnome wstaje, ale menu główne nie zawiera żadnych programów.
Jest tylko miejsca, system i wyloguj.
W alacarte też nie ma wtedy brakujących ikon.
Mój xinitrc:

Objawy występują od lipca: w tym czasie xorg 1.8.2 -do tej pory (próbowałem też 1.9.*), gcc 4.4-r1, obecnie 4.5.1-r1.

PS: Zdaje mi się, że kiedyś był na tym forum podobny wątek, ale w szukajce niczego konkretnego nie znalazłem.
