Hi there - just a question

is there any file / html or otherwise of the actual help in menu.config
i think it would be great, as it would safe time when installing - as you can read beforehand and draw up a plan of what you want and don't want in your kernel and then change your settings in the menu.config fairly swiftly without having to read the help-files during installation.

just a thought

if you use the menuconfig script, press F1 this will show you an explanation of the option currently hi-lighted.

 sorry i probably wasn't specific enough - i though actually something that i could print out - so i can do some preparitory work, when i am not at the computer installing - i.e i will make my decissions beforehand having read it through in peace and quiet and then with the printout in my hand - already knowing what to do - i configure the kernel options - any ideas where or how one can get such a printout or file i can print out myself?

thanks

Documentation for th kernel can be found here.
Of course, it might not exactly the right one for you - the documentation is also patched when you apply patches to the kernel - but it should allow you to do at least some planning. :)
